About the Journal

About the Journal

Marine Biology & Biotechnology Advances is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal publishing high-quality research on marine life, ocean ecosystems, and biotechnology-driven applications from the sea. The journal provides a multidisciplinary platform for marine biologists, biotechnologists, and ocean scientists to share discoveries that deepen biological understanding and enable sustainable use of marine resources.

Each submission undergoes a thorough peer-review process conducted by members of the editorial board and a panel of expert reviewers. Authors are encouraged to adhere to the journal's detailed formatting and submission guidelines, which are designed to ensure efficient editorial processing.

Only original and unpublished research—whether experimental or theoretical—that is not under review elsewhere will be considered. Once accepted, articles are scheduled for publication in upcoming issues, depending on the editorial board's prioritization.

Marine Biology & Biotechnology Advances promotes the integration of fundamental and applied research across marine biodiversity, ecology, genomics, aquaculture, and blue biotechnology. By fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange, the journal contributes to innovations in healthcare, materials, food systems, and environmental stewardship derived from the marine realm.
