Advances in Biotechnology & Genetic Engineering (ABGE) is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publishing innovative research and critical reviews in biotechnology, molecular biology, and genetic engineering. The journal serves as a global platform for scientists, academicians, and industry professionals to exchange knowledge that drives advancements in biological science and applied biotechnology.

Its core mission is to promote scientific innovation by integrating cutting-edge research in genetics, genomics, molecular diagnostics, agricultural biotechnology, and industrial bioprocessing. ABGE aims to bridge the gap between laboratory research and practical applications, contributing to sustainable development, healthcare advancement, and bio-based industry solutions.

The journal welcomes contributions on a broad range of topics, including but not limited to:

  • Genetic engineering, genomics, and proteomics

  • Molecular biology and recombinant DNA technology

  • Plant, animal, and microbial biotechnology

  • Industrial and environmental biotechnology

  • Bioinformatics, computational biology, and synthetic biology

  • Bioprocess engineering and biomanufacturing

  • Biomedical and pharmaceutical biotechnology

  • Gene editing technologies (CRISPR, TALEN, and related tools)

  • Nanobiotechnology and biomaterials

  • Ethics, policy, and biosafety in biotechnology

We invite submissions in the form of original research papers, review articles, short communications, and case studies. All manuscripts should aim to advance scientific understanding and practical applications in biotechnology and genetic engineering for human, agricultural, and environmental benefit.
